Connect Shopify
Open Bitelio in Shopify and choose the right project for your store.
Start from Shopify
New public installations are pending Shopify review. You can request a demo while access becomes available. Creating a web account does not install the app or enable Stripe subscriptions for a connected store.
If Bitelio is already installed, open Apps → Bitelio from your Shopify admin. You do not need another Bitelio account to return to the app.
After installation, open Apps → Bitelio in Shopify. For a store without a linked project, choose to start with the store or use an existing project. Starting with the store creates its workspace after your confirmation. The Shopify store owner must confirm the initial connection.
For the authorized store owner, the app opens inside Shopify using the verified Shopify session, without a separate Bitelio login. Staff and collaborators need the access allowed for their role; opening Shopify alone does not grant project administration. A store already connected to a project reopens that project.
Use an existing Bitelio project
Choose this when your team already has contacts, templates or settings in Bitelio that belong to the same business.
- On the Bitelio website, sign into your verified personal account and select the intended project. You need administrative access to its settings, team and billing.
- Open Settings → Integrations → Shopify → Use this project in Shopify.
- Choose Create connection code. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
- In Bitelio inside Shopify, choose Use an existing project, paste the code and select Review connection.
- Check the project name and the Shopify store shown. The store owner then chooses Confirm connection.
Reviewing the code does not link the store. If it expires, create another code. Keep it private: confirming it grants the Shopify store owner access to manage that project.
A store already linked to another project cannot be moved by entering a code. Open its existing project or contact support to review the situation. Do not create a duplicate subscription to work around a billing review.
Check synchronization
Open the connection and synchronization view from the app's setup task or Settings → Integrations. It shows progress and any failed step. Wait for the order history required by your program; a completed product import alone does not mean that history is ready.
When the required checks are ready, return to Second purchase and prepare your program.
Billing follows the project
A project connected to Shopify uses Shopify for plans and approved charges, including when you open that project on the Bitelio website. Settings → Billing shows its current status and the available management action.
If a Stripe subscription already exists, the connection stays pending and synchronization does not start until support reviews the billing migration. The previous subscription is not cancelled automatically. Once resolved, reopen Bitelio in Shopify to finish connecting.
Unlinking the store does not switch the project to direct billing or cancel its Shopify subscription. Independent projects without Shopify can still use direct Bitelio billing. Billing details.
