Back-in-stock request

Record that a storefront visitor wants to be told when an out-of-stock Shopify variant returns.

Authenticated with your public key, because it is meant to be called from a storefront widget. Rate-limited to 20 requests a minute per caller.

A back-in-stock request is not marketing consent: the contact is created unsubscribed, exactly as a contact created by the transactional API is. Ask for consent separately.

Returns 404 when the variant is not one of your project's.

POST
/v1/back-in-stock

Authorization

ApiKeyAuth

AuthorizationBearer <token>

API Key authentication. Secret keys (sk_*) are required for all endpoints except /v1/track. Public keys (pk_*) only work with the /v1/track endpoint for client-side event tracking. The project is automatically derived from the key.
