# Products and brand (/second-purchase/products-brand)

## Review the imported products

Open **Products → Information**. Active Shopify products and their available store translations are imported automatically. The synchronization area shows whether the import is waiting, running, completed or needs attention.

Use the language and review filters to find a product. Review the definition of the product and its intended customer, how to use it, common difficulties and precautions where relevant. A clothing item does not need a preparation recipe. Product descriptions and useful metadata provide context; the knowledge should explain the product rather than repeat its sales description.

Shopify changes can create content pending review. Your edits and approved versions are preserved. A missing translation is not evidence that the information exists in that language.

## Use AI to prepare a draft

Eligible paid plans can fill or regenerate knowledge with AI within the plan's allowance. Open a product and choose **Regenerate content with AI** when available. Save your edits first if the action asks you to do so.

AI can use product sources, relevant general knowledge and research when available. Review the sources and pending fields shown in the editor. Do not approve an unsupported usage instruction, health claim or precaution simply because it was generated.

Correct the draft and approve the version you want the program to use. Generation and approval are separate steps. You can begin with a useful subset of products; approving the entire catalog is not an activation requirement.

On a free plan, you can complete knowledge manually. The AI allowance panel explains whether an eligible paid plan or available quota is needed for automatic filling.

## Prepare recommendations

Open **Products → Recommendations** to review the information used for commercial decisions, including eligible products and costs. Knowledge explains a product; recommendation settings determine whether it can be offered under your [limits](/second-purchase/incentives).

## Apply your store's identity

Open the brand task in Second purchase or the project's brand settings. Import from the connected Shopify theme, enter a public website, or define the identity manually.

Review the proposal before applying it. Check the logo, header background, fonts and the contrast of text, links and buttons. A white logo needs a dark header or a suitable logo color. You can change the logo color and the header background independently.

**Apply proposal** fills the editable draft; review the email preview and save. Website blocking or incomplete source styles can require manual adjustments. Existing custom HTML and already-saved template blocks keep their own design.

Finally, confirm your sender and [verify its domain](/guides/verifying-domains). Return to **Second purchase** to continue setup.
