# Get an SMS message (/api-reference/public-api/getSms)

`GET /v1/sms/{id}`

Base URL: `https://api.bitelio.com`

One message, including the text that was actually sent.

Returns **404** for a message belonging to another project, never 403 — a 403 would confirm the id is real.

## Path parameters

- `id`: string (required)

## Responses

### `200` — OK

### `404` — No such message in this project
